There are many park moorings scattered along this coast including near Caneel Bay at Honeymoon Beach. The actual resort was heavily damaged in the hurricanes of September 2017 such that it is closed off temporarily but they are working on rebuilding it. You can land the dinghy on the beach just SE of the resort and there are trails that lead to Cruz Bay- one runs low along the coast and the other up and over Caneel Hill. It is a good option for visiting Cruz Bay without going in to the tight harbor there, if you don't mind the walk.
