This anchorage is suitable as an overnight stop in the Northeast  season only. The anchorage is on the Western side of the channel between the two islands in 6 to 8 metres on sand. It is not permitted to light a BBQ on the beach. Good snorkeling can be found along the reef on the East side of Ko Rok Nok. Rangers will come and charge for staying. Ask them where best to anchor or pick up a buoy.
The mooring buoys near shore at the Rok Nok group are not suitable for yachts except for those in the mid channel.. Do not attempt to pick up a buoy Beware of the shallow water to the East of Ko Rok Nai
