Less than 3 miles up the Guadiana River, this modern marina sits on the Spanish side and is part of the marina group for Andalucia called Empresa Publica de Puertos which has standardized pricing and one website to cover them. In summer 2017 there was plenty of room for transients and the marina was dredged in the past 2 years so both the entrance and the basin have good depths at any tide state. The town of Ayamonte is nice enough and has lots of restaurants. There is an ailing zoo right near the marina and a tourist office next it.
