This marina is the first one you come to on the port side upon entering the Guadiana River and it sits in front of the town of Vila Real de Santo Antonio. It occupies a smaller space than the marina at Ayamonte and as it is not in a separate basin, it is subject to strong currents. In summer 2017, rates were equal between the two marinas for a berth with electricity & water.  Best to enter/exit at slack water. The town is cute and has a nice promenade fronting the marina. If you backtrack to the breakwater where you entered the river, there is a pretty and wide beach to walk on that is popular with locals for exercise, not to mention RV's. You can easily take the train from here to Faro, which connects to other destinations including Lisbon. Total trip to Lisbon takes about 5 hrs.
