Description (0)This area on the island of Aese is uninhabited and the remains of WWII installations, a coconut plantation and a lemon/lime orchard are visible. If you're willing to meander through the overgrowth, there are limes for the picking! The water is a beautiful turqoise color and there are small white beaches. Snorkeling isn't too bad and the protection from SE-NE is good, although the wind was pretty much S & SW when we were there and it was OK- no swell and no roll, just a chop. The bottom is coral & sand. Pick your spot carefully and note that there are 2 potential anchorages- to the north & south of a reef that comes out from the old wharf at "Sanmarada" on the chart. This waypoint had us in 18 feet among a few small coral patches. ReviewsBe the first to add a review!Nearby Places(to show the Places layer, click the layer button in the top right corner of the map)
