Loh Gebah is a bay at the top of Komodo
island, just south of the favorite spot at Gili Lawa Darat. It has
two park moorings and room to anchor and is a calm, protected,
beautiful spot. With a decent dinghy, access to Gili Lawa Darat is
easy. When approaching, stay in the middle of the bay to avoid reef
edges that run along the shoreline. Either pick up a free mooring or
anchor in good holding sand in whatever depth you choose, near the
moorings. Deer peruse the shoreline looking for food. If you choose
to stay on the mooring that is on the left side of the bay or anchor
on that side, you will have better cell/internet coverage because the
tower is way up on a hilltop on Komodo Island.
Features
Great walking at Gili Lawa Darat Island. Komodo Island has dragons so be careful!
