This island has some lovely trails. The most popular is Pyramid Pinnacle, easily identified by its shape on the right side of the beach at Gili Lawa Darat mooring area. It is quite hot during the day, but in the evening, the sunset views are spectacular and temp is much more comfortable. Once at the top, the trail continues on to other hilltops and more views and you can do a loop that takes you back down to the beach. You'll know when you've gotten to the farthest out peak because there are several cairns on top and it is wonderfully quiet! Trails are easy to see. Look for deer grazing in the grass in the evening. Bring plenty of water!
